AGES 11-16
Our secondary programs are designed to support young people aged 11–16 who benefit from a tailored, structured, and supportive environment. Pupils access their programme across a range of dedicated and off-site venues, ensuring flexibility and the most appropriate setting for their needs. Each pupil’s timetable is delivered by our team of highly experienced mentors and includes:
• 1 hour of education – supported through BKSB online resources and paper-based materials created by our education specialist, enabling pupils to strengthen their core skills in English, maths, and beyond.
• 1 hour of personal development – age-appropriate sessions that equip young people with essential life skills and knowledge. Topics include money management, safe use of social media, awareness of risks such as knife crime, and other relevant issues affecting today’s young people.
• 1 hour of interest-led activity – giving pupils the chance to pursue areas of interest, build confidence, and develop new talents in a positive and supportive setting.
Our provision aims to re-engage pupils with learning, foster independence, and encourage positive choices. By combining academic progress with meaningful personal development, we help young people to build resilience, raise aspirations, and prepare for successful futures.
